Master in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPW)

The Master in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics is an interdisciplinary, part-time further education course for people in a profession. The program teaches managers and decision-makers basic knowledge of philosophy, politics, and economics for the purpose of resolving moral, economic, and political questions and conflicts.

Overview of the Master in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics

In the present climate, managers increasingly have to act not only in an economically rational way, but also in a morally responsible manner, with sensitivity to political trends. The program in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, which is the first part-time further education course at LMU Munich, prepares managers for dealing with conflicting aims. It provides decision-makers in economics, politics, and society with the key skills they need to structure and solve complex problems and assume responsibility towards the public.
