Personal information

After completing my doctorate in 2003 and my habilitation in 2009 (both at LMU), I was appointed Adjunct Professor in 2020. Numerous research stays, fellowships, scholarships, visiting professorships, and interim professorships in Germany and abroad.

Research interests

I mainly work on the intellectual and philosophical history of the ancient Greeks and the 20th century. My specialisms here are the philosophy of history, philosophy of culture, and political philosophy.
