Dr. Reier Helle is an assistant professor (akademischer Rat auf Zeit) at the Chair of Ancient Philosophy and in the Munich School of Ancient Philosophy (MUSAΦ). He completed his PhD in Philosophy and Classical Philology at Yale University in 2020. He also holds an M.Phil in Philosophy from the University of Oslo.

Research interests

Dr. Helle is particularly interested in ancient physics and metaphysics. His main research interest currently focuses on the ancient Stoics, especially topics such as substance, causality, mixture, and corporeality.
