I am interested in European antiquity, which laid the grounds for science and democracy. The conception of freedom and justice which is developed in the classic way in Plato and Aristotle shaped European history and gave the viewpoints of different civilizations a universal foundation. After the catastrophe of the Second World War, man's natural right to life was established as the limit of traditional state power by the UN Declaration of Human Rights.
