David Zapero studied philosophy at Oxford and Paris. After completing his doctorate at the Sorbonne and a research stay in Chicago, he worked at the International Center for Philosophy at the University of Bonn.
Since early 2026, he has been conducting research at the CVBE at LMU Munich with a DFG position.

Current Projects
The subject of his current research is the methodological significance of cognitive science for the philosophy of perception and the philosophical implications of empirical findings in the psychology of perception.
