Personal information

I recently completed my PhD in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. My PhD thesis discussed how scientists could use effect sizes of tested interventions to inform rational decision-making. Before Cambridge, I completed a Research Master's in Philosophy and Economics at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, and Bachelor degrees in Philosophy and Economics at the University of Freiburg. I joined the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy (MCMP) in October 2024.

Research interests

I specialise in philosophy of science, with a focus on philosophy of the biomedical and social sciences, and in formal epistemology and decision theory. Currently, I focus on topics relevant to how science can best produce knowledge helpful for decision-makers. You can find out more about my projects on my personal website.
