Personal Information

In 1991, I obtained my doctorate under Professor Stegmüller with a thesis on Davidson's philosophy of language. My habilitation in philosophy followed in 1997. Until 2019, I worked with my own company (Projekt Philosophie) advising businesses around the world. Together with my business partner Professor Dr. Wilhelm, I have published various non-fiction books which have a "philosophical background", e.g. Argumentieren (1999, numerous editions), Manipulation (currently in its fifth edition). I investigate the subject of conspiracy theories in the two-volume Dossier Verschwörungstheorie (2021, 2023, with Judith Faessler).

Research Interests

My seminars at LMU are dedicated first and foremost to ethics, philosophy of law and philosophy of the state. My own philosophical position is that of classical liberalism. Furthermore, I defend an offensive atheism.
