Zur Person

Ich habe einen Hintergrund in Mathematik (Promotion 2009) und wechselte 2012 zur Philosophie. Seitdem habe ich mich in Philosophie an der LMU München (2021) und in Philosophie und Mathematik in Italien (2023) habilitiert. Ich habe zwei DFG-Projekte geleitet: das erste Projekt befasste sich mit Evidenz und Bayesianischer Erkenntnistheorie, das zweite Projekt war ein Forschungsnetzwerk zur induktiven Logik.

Forschungsinteressen

Ich interessiere mich für unsichere Schlussfolgerungen im weitesten Sinne, einschließlich, aber nicht beschränkt auf: induktive Logik (reine und objektive Bayes'sche Logik), Erkenntnistheorie, allgemeine Wissenschaftstheorie, kausale Schlussfolgerungen (in der Medizin und anderswo), Wissensdarstellung und Grundlagen der KI.
