Dustin Stokes ist Philosoph und Kognitionswissenschaftler mit Schwerpunkt auf Wahrnehmung, Imagination und Kreativität. Er erforscht, wie geistige, sensorische und körperliche Formen des Weltkontakts unser Denken, Fühlen und Handeln prägen. Dabei verbindet er analytische Philosophie mit empirischer Forschung aus Psychologie, Neurowissenschaft und KI.
Dustin Stokes ist Senior Researcher am Lehrstuhl für Metaphysik der LMU München. Zuvor lehrte er an den Universitäten von Sussex, Toronto und Utah. In seiner Arbeit plädiert er für ein dynamisches, formbares Verständnis des Geistes – und für den Brückenschlag zwischen Theorie, Wissenschaft und gelebter Erfahrung.
