Causal Extrapolation in Theory and Practice (2023 - 2026)

Abstract

This project addresses the problem of how to determine when causal relationships that obtain in one population will be similarly effective in others. The aims of the project are to develop a suitable analysis of the problem(s) of extrapolation using graphical causal models, and to develop new approaches to dealing with it with the help of causal mediation techniques and dynamic causal models.
